eResources/Research Tools may be found at the following link out on the library's card catalog http://mylibraryus.armybiznet.com/screens/resources2.html. All sources (such as Academic OneFile, Ancestry Library Edition, AudioBook-CloudAudiobooks, Auto Repair Reference Center, National Geographic Virtual Library, Zinio Digital Magazines, etc.) can be accessed by simply signing up for a Robert C. McEwen library account.
Digital and E-Books can now be “borrowed” from Fort Drum McEwen Library. Patrons need to access the Army/Digital Media Library through AKO, www.us.army.mil. Click Self Service, then My Library, then click Read or Listen to a Book. This will take you to an E-Book and audio book resource page where books can be loaded onto your e-reader.
- Computer - Public Use
The public-use computers offer internet access, Microsoft Word and a variety of other programs.
We charge 5¢ per page when printing from a computer with a printing limit of 50 pages, including official forms and documents.
- Fax and Copy Service
McEwen Library offers Facsimile (FAX) and Copy service for a minimal fee.
Faxes - $1 per page
Photocopies - 25¢ per page

- Children's Programming
Story Time - To encourage the lifelong love of reading in young library visitors, story time for pre-schoolers is every Tuesday and Friday morning from 10–11 a.m.
Volunteers are needed to read. Please contact the McEwen Library for details.
The McEwen Library's Kids Card Catalog is now available to browse children's books, Storyline Online, games and more.

We're here to serve you
All Active Duty and Retired Military, Family members age ten and over, and civilian employees may borrow materials from the library. National Guard, Reservists, and TDY personnel may use the library while at Fort Drum.

The library is a state-of-the-art 18,000 square-foot facility that includes a multimedia area, a children's library, periodical area, and an open reading area with 60 CAC-accessible computers linked with the classroom network in the education center. Patrons have access to periodical databases and an online public catalog.
The extensive collection includes print and non-print materials, i.e., books, magazines, audiobooks, e-books, e-audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, and online streaming services. Materials may be borrowed for three weeks and renewed twice. With the exception of movies, there is no limit on the number of materials that may be checked out. For your convenience, you can renew materials in person, over the phone, or by e-mail.
