Active Parenting of Teens

This program is video-based, interactive learning experience for parents and teens and preteens. Topics include: parenting in a democratic society; understanding parenting styles; brain research on teen development; character development to help teens; survive and thrive adulthood; discipline and communication strategies; how to apply strategies to issues related to risk behaviors such as drug use, sexuality and violence. All six sessions must be completed in order to receive a certificate of completion.
This course will meet on May 7, 14, 21 and June 4, 11, 18.
