Child & Youth Services (CYS)

The Child and Youth Services Administrative Office is home to the CYS Coordinator and our dedicated support team, working together to keep our child and youth programs safe, fun, and organized.

Chapel Drive Child Development Center offers Families with children six weeks to five years old quality full-day childcare. Hourly care currently closed until further notice.

Memorial CDC is currently closed until further notice.

Po Valley Child Development Center offers Families with children ages six weeks to five years old quality full-day childcare.

South Riva Ridge Child Development Center offers Families with children six weeks to five years old quality full-day childcare.

The Family Child Care (FCC) program is an integral part of the Child and Youth Services (CYS) childcare system available on Army garrisons. FCC provides quality home-based care for children 4 weeks to 12 years old and is offered in government owned and government leased housing located on post.

The Fort Drum Youth Center offers a variety of leisure, developmental, and sports programs to middle school and high school students in grades 6–12. The Youth Center provides comprehensive, supervised services with after school, weekend, and summer programs.

Membership and use of the facility are FREE for eligible youth who are registered with Child & Youth Services! 

The Parent Central Services office operates as a one-stop child/youth registration point for all delivery systems. Parent Central Services (PCS) is your first stop for information, registration, enrollments and referrals.

The Fort Drum School Age Center (SAC) offers a supervised, comprehensive before- and after-school program for children in grades K–5 and before school care for children in grade 6. 

School Support Services provides Army school-aged youth with educational opportunities, resources and information necessary to achieve academic success. A branch of Child & Youth Services (CYS), School Support Services features School Liaison Officers (SLOs), who help schools, installations and Families work together for student achievement.

The Fort Drum Child and Youth Services Sports & Fitness Program emphasizes safety, participation, fun and good sportsmanship. The program is designed to provide all youth the opportunity to participate, develop fundamental skills and grow in an atmosphere of sportsmanship, citizenship and teamwork.
