The Army MWR Library offers exciting events and programs for Soldiers, Families, and DoW Civilians. Whether you love books, games, crafts, or learning, there is something for everyone!
DoD Summer Reading Program
Join the DoD MWR Library Summer Reading Program and earn rewards for reaching your reading goals. This annual program encourages kids, teens, and adults to explore the world through books while having fun with interactive events.

Children's Programming
To encourage a lifelong love of reading in young library visitors, McEwen Library offers various story time programs targeted to different age ranges (please see the schedule below). Age ranges are offered to provide caregivers with an idea of the intended audience, but patrons are free to choose the story time that works best for the children in their care regardless of age.
Robert C McEwen Library offers the following Children's Programming:

Story Time (All Ages) | Monday, 10 AM
Books, songs, and rhymes followed by a sensory stay-and-play.

Baby Time (0-18 Months) | Friday, 9:30 AM
Lap-sit story time to encourage interaction between babies and caregivers.

Troops and Tots Craft Night | Every 1st Tuesday, 5 PM
Bring the family to create something special together. Craft kits provided.

Homeschool STEAM (4-12 years) | Every 1st Wednesday, 2 PM
Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities.

Pokémon Club | Every 4th Tuesday, 5 PM
Learn how to play Pokémon TCG, make friends, and enjoy Pokémon-themed crafts. Bring your deck or borrow one from us.
