Abandoned Vehicle Auction

View and make bids on abandoned vehicles.

Fort Drum Family and MWR will sell abandoned vehicles during an auction October 22–24.

A traditional live auction of hand-selected vehicles will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 am on October 22, outside building S-68 (Oswego Avenue). Buyers may view these vehicles from 8 to 8:30 am, and must be present to bid on these vehicles. Winners must pay for vehicles won during the live auction on the same day, October 22, or the vehicle will become available for bid in the silent auction.

Following the completion of the live auction, the remaining vehicles will be open for bid by a silent auction from 10:30 am to 6 pm on October 22 and from 10 am to 6 pm on October 23 and 24.

This vehicle auction is conducted IAW Federal Law 10 USC 2575 and applicable DoD and DA regulations concerning disposition of abandoned personal property. All vehicle sales are AS IS. DFMWR will not warrant either physical condition of the vehicle nor the purchaser’s ability to obtain state title and/or registration.

Vehicles can be viewed at the lot on the corner of Third St. E. and Lewis Ave. on South Post from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on auction days.

Place your bid using the bid form at the vehicle lot from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on auction days. Additional forms will be available at the lot and Auto Skills Center, or download a copy.

Minimum bid on any vehicle is $300. If multiple bids are made, only the highest bid will be accepted.

All bids will be read and winners will start receiving notifications on October 25. Tied bids will be determined by first received. Vehicle offers must be accepted or declined on first offer (no second looks). If we are unable to contact the winning bidder and a message is left, you will have 24 hours to respond. No response implies FMWR will move on to the contact the next highest bidder. Winning bids must be paid for within 24 hours and all vehicles must be removed within 48 hours of notification.

Bids will vary. Cash or credit card payments will be accepted.
