Atkins features an indoor Astroturf area with five 25-meter sprint lanes, pull and push sleds for strength and speed, cardio machines including Woodway Force treadmills, Jacob's ladders, concept rowers, ski machines, and endless rope machines.

The Strength Training Room offers half racks with weights and bars, 5–125 lb. dumbbells, kettle bells, weight benches, slammer balls, core balls, ab machines, glute/ham machines, climbing ropes, pegboards, and cargo climbing net.

The Alpha Warrior room houses the newest addition to Atkins: a 35 foot Alpha Warrior Rig, with capabilities of performing over 70 different exercises for Soldiers to prepare for battle.

Functional fitness exercises are designed to train and develop your muscles to make it easier and safer to perform everyday activities. Functional fitness focuses on strength, agility, stamina, and speed.
Functional fitness builds a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life positions. Functional fitness exercises train your muscles to work together and prepares them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, in sport, or on the battlefield. While using various muscles in the upper and lower body at the same time, functional fitness exercises also emphasize core stability. Personal trainers are available to give you a one-on-one personalized functional fitness workout plan.
