Annual Tree Lighting and Holiday Celebration

The Annual Tree and Menorah Lighting will take place in front of The Commons at 5:15 p.m. All DoD ID card holders are welcome to come sing holiday songs with the 10th Mountain Band and help welcome the holiday season with the lighting of the Christmas tree and the Menorah. Following the lighting, Santa will arrive via the Fort Drum Fire Department and escort all into the Holiday Party. Children will have time to sit with Santa and tell him what they would like before going to Santa's magic toy machine to receive a little something. The Youth Center will be on hand to pass out holiday cookies. Create a holiday craft at the CYS table, or enjoy some pizza and the entertainment. This event is free and open to all DoD ID card holders.

NEW THIS YEAR: the Tree Lighting and Holiday Party will be combined with our annual Trees for Troops giveaway! Also new this year, tickets for trees will be distributed through units to Families who will receive a tree. After the lighting, Families who received a ticket prior to the event will be invited to choose their Christmas tree outside the Commons. Those Families should come prepared to take their tree home after the tree lighting.
