We care about our patrons. Safety is our top priority at MWR aquatics facilities.

All Patrons must enter the pool area through the locker rooms & shower before entering the pool. No street shoes allowed on the pool deck.

Never Swim Alone. There must be at least 2 lifeguards on duty to swim. Only use the pool during scheduled operating hours.

There is no substitute for adequate supervision. Youth under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. See youth policies for clarification. Lifeguards cannot supervise youth.

In an emergency, notify staff and contact 911 as soon as possible. A telephone is located in the pool office and at the front desk.

Patrons of any age who cannot swim a length of the pool unassisted must stay in the shallow end. There are no exceptions.

Dive only in designated areas. Never dive in less than 8 feet of water. No backward or spinning entries into the water at any time.

Use of starting blocks is prohibited except during competitive swimming or swimmer training activities. Please stay off.

No running, horseplay, dunking, shoving, etc.

Use Coast Guard approved personal floatation devices only. Patrons wearing a PFD must stay in the shallow end and be supervised by an adult in the water. Adults can supervise up to 3 youths in a PFD at a time. Adults must be within arms reach of the child in a PFD.

Swim diapers are required for all children who are not toilet trained. All diapers must be changed at the changing station only.

No inflatables. Per army regulations.

No food or glass containers in the pool area at any time. Beverages in plastic containers are allowed on the deck. Food is allowed on the pool patio.

Do not swim immediately after eating. Allow for adequate time before getting in the pool.

No gum is allowed in the pool. Please dispose of before swimming.

Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be allowed in the pool.

Unsanitary practices in the pool are prohibited. Nose blowing, spitting, urinating, etc.

Patrons of all ages must wear a swimsuit.

Fins, kickboards, pull buoys, masks with a nose piece and snorkels are to be used for lap swim only.

No hyperventilation or extended underwater breath holding will be allowed period. These can result in shallow water blackout.

Monitor your swimming time to prevent overexposure to you and your family. Swimming for long periods and pool temperatures can exhaust persons quicker than normal. Make sure you exit the pool before you become too exhausted or cold. Especially monitor small children.

No swimming during thunderstorms. For the safety of all patrons, the pool and pool deck will be cleared during thunderstorms. The pool will reopen 30 minutes after the last observed flash of lightening or thunder.

Pool staff have the right to restrict any activity they feel is hazardous to the safety of the pool personnel and patrons. Follow all lifeguard instructions.
